White Box Challenge

I love HGTV. Unfortunately, cable isn't in my budget so I have to settle for what's online. I was so happy when I found out that Design Star was on Hulu. My favorite challenge on that show is called 'White Box Challenge." If you've never seen the show the challenge is exactly what it sounds like. The contestants are given a room that is completely white and with a small budget they have to shop at somewhere strange like a hardware store, dollar store, or the grocery store and transform what they get there into an amazing space that is create and showcases their design style. Sounds super hard right? Here are some amazing rooms from the show.

Amazing right? The reason I'm writing about this is to psych myself up for my own semi-white box challenge that I've got going on. I recently volunteered to be a Sunday school teacher for 3 year olds at my church. The room I'm teaching in has been unused all summer and I have been given about $20 to fix it up a bit before I start this week. Here is the room as is:

Okay so it isn't white and it isn't exactly empty but it is definitely a box and it is most certainly going to be a challenge! Any ideas?? I could use all the help I can get. I'm thinking about hanging some things from the ceiling and doing a little rearranging. But mostly I'm at a loss for ideas. Help please!
